Full To The Brim With Ramen!
If you're looking for a quick sushi fix, look no further than Dozo in South Kensington.
I've never been a huge sushi fan, but last week when my friend suggested that we have a quick catch up over a few small bites all that changed.
Dozo is located a short walk from South Kensington station and is located along Old Brompton Road.
Inside has a cosy vibe, with the set up being in traditional japanese style meaning that you do have to wiggle and crouch a bit to get into your seat.
Whilst upstairs offers communal seating which is perfect for if you're planning to have a quick bite, we were lucky enough to be seated downstairs in a private alcove reserved for parties larger than 4.
Once seated be prepared to want to eat almost everything on the menu, I know that I definitely felt that way hence why I've kept nagging friends to go back with me.
My noodle addiction led me to chose the spicy beef ramen packed full of spring onions, chillies, bok choy (chinese lettuce), spring onions, bean sprouts and of course succulent beef slices.
Although the menu offers a range of dishes from sushi to donburi. The prices are all pretty affordable too, my ramen was under £10 and the portion was pretty huge!
Almost every dish is accompanied with complementary Chinese green tea which is more true to the green teas you find in stores as it has a much earthier flavour.
It's so good that I've been twice in the past week and I'm making plans to go as soon as possible! So I think its safe to say that I would definitely recommend popping in for a quick bite if you're in the area!
If you have any suggestions for any cute little Japanese restaurants let me know in the comments below! Have a great weekend everyone and if you swing by Dozo let me know what you think :)
